LONG WIND FARM SHIPPING POLICY

Worm Shipments:

We harvest and ship worms on Monday and Tuesday each week to avoid any danger of shipments being stalled over the weekend.  All orders received after noon EST on Fridays will not ship the following week, but will instead be shipped the week after.

While Long Wind Farm ships to locations within the 48 contiguous states of the United States, we reserve the right to refuse or postpone shipment of worms to any location that we deem unsuitable to our live delivery guaranty due to climate conditions or any other reason we feel would jeopardized the health of the worms in transit.  Under such circumstances the customer will be notified by email.  We ship our worms by priority mail as a rule and it is critical that someone will be at the shipping address to receive the worm package.

 

It is very normal for the worm bedding and worms to lose moisture and thus some weight during shipping.  Upon receipt of your worms it is important that you add some water to the bedding immediately and introduce the worms into fresh moist bedding and supply them with food within a few hours of delivery.

 

Live Delivery Guaranty:

 

Long Wind Farm guarantees that our worm shipments will arrive alive pursuant with the conditions stated above.  Should there be any problem related to the health of the worms in a shipment the customer must contact us be email or by calling customer service at 800-203-6790 within 24 hours of receipt or this guaranty is null and void.  If you have any questions regarding this guaranty please email customerservice@longwindfarm.com.
