Planting has begun!
All hands are on deck today to transplant Emerald City's 6,000 plants from nursury pots to our moist, rich, composted soil. You can see Melissa pulling a plant from a nursury pot before delivering it to its new residence. We like to get our hands dirty here at Long Wind and Melissa's hands are no exception. They are caked with our teeming soil. We produce and nurture our own compost, which ensures that our tomatoes have the healthiest and nutrient-rich environment to grow in. In just a few months, these plants will be dotted with our beautiful organic tomatoes.
